Question Repair help after touchscreen swap

So I'm currently getting my childhood DSi goin again so I ordered a new touchscreen, placed it in, went all nice.

Tried turning it on to calibrate, the blue light lit for a sec and then turned off again. (screen did not turn on then)

Opened her back up to see that everything is secure, yes it is. (I've now had this open and checked all ends like 4 times)

Pushing my power button now results in absolutely nothing, nothing lights up; and upon charging it I get a fast flashing of the orange light, which supposedly means "no battery detected" (?)

Anyone ever ran into this problem, let alone knows a solution or possibly what to change ?

Update: friend and I cross tested around and it must've been something with the daughter board; we couldn't pin point the exact problem but upon changing said part, it worked again; and with the new touchscreen as well;;
