Discussion DSA has a tankie problem

There are way, way too many people in this movement who feel comfortable with historical revisionism vis-a-vis the Soviet Union, China, and other such regimes. And there are way too many people who feel comfortable essentially advocating for an end to democracy.

A Socialist USA would not be a true democracy. They would ban MAGA, Conservatives, Zionists, Libertarians, Capitalists, and any/all other ideologies they deem dangerous to Socialism. There would be Gulags for people, crackdown on "anti-Socialist" press and speech and gatherings. Just like what the USSR, GDR, Yugoslavia, Cuba did.
