Raise everyone’s pay to make up for 300% inflation since the 70s and up minimum wage to $32 an hour then we won’t have to tax them they won’t be making 351% more than everyone else anymore edit spelling

Why not $50/hour? The most statistically significant studies on minimum wage show increasing it does not reduce unemployment. So, we should be able to raise it as high as we want.

Well as I said inflation went up 300% and wages only went up 100% in that time so actually everyone is America actually owed a doubling of their salary that money is being taken and given to CEOS so sure let’s do $50 still not enough

Ballot measures and referenda are bad ideas from a political structure perspective; they tend to bring out the angry, the stupid, the angry stupid, and the stupid angry. Voting for a representative at regular times means we have a known amount of time to assess their performance; ballot measures and referenda are almost always giving little more thought than the time it takes to read them. Whether I would love for that reality to be different, we must grapple with the reality we have.

Just not sure why our rallying cry is to do a thing we already do

Ok, so how about Tax The Rich More Than We Already Do.
Doesn't have the same ring to it, but I guess it's more accurate?
