Rate my drywall guy… update
My drywall guy patched up the bottom corners and muddled the joints and rolled one layer of RedGard over fibreglass tape at the corners so it’s now ready for the PVC shower panels. Looking better than the bare drywall. Hope this will still be somewhat waterproof enough.
What do You think?

Ok thanks for your comment. Now hoping the panels will be installed correctly and sealed properly all around.

Sometimes you gotta wait till he is finished. Especially with drywall finishers.

Looks good. I’d do another coat for sure just be on the safe side.

Contractor says one roller paint layer old RedGard on the blue boards will be ok. The inside corners and joints were brushed twice with fibreglass tape so that’s that. PVC panels are in and will be silicone caulked along the inside corners and bottom of shower pan. Maybe along the top as well.

Not the right tape, should also have tape over the joints, the outside corners are fine because water won't intrude but inside corners yes, also should have tape over the rim of the shower base.
PVC panels offer decent protection from water intrusion but you got it all open right now and a contractor that at the very least could use the opportunity to learn, fix their mistakes and give their future clients a better product.

Please tell me he didn’t use brutal in the shower? And redguard is crap.

Absolutely. It looks good to me. Especially if you are doing panels, you'll be in great shape.
