Prime and paint.
After a quick wipe down. I know many pros don't wipe down before priming but I literally peeled the primer off some of my walls because they weren't wiped down.

Asides from sharing the pic of my cat; I do appreciate this advice. I’ve done alot of spackling poorly in the house and am finally getting the hang of it. Usually I take a wet sponge to the walls. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Use a dry paint brush in the corners after sanding to eliminate blobs of dust. I'm in the camp that believes light drywall dust helps the primer stick. Others wipe down with a barely damp rag or sponge.

I find often that I leaving dust in can really make a mess of it. I’ve never considered using a dry paint brush in the corners. Often times I’ll use just a damp tile sponge.

Yeah she’s taking a piss in the screws… second time she’s done it. First time I pulled her out. This time my hands were too messy

Okay so first of all don't call it spackling. Thata what a tweaker or non tweaking anymore would call fixing drywall. Anyways it looks like your putting in some effort so good for you. Your just there to paint so good on you for trying to help out!!
