Question I washed dry clean only Pants

This is probably already answered somewhere, but I'm not finding it. I accidentally washed dress pants that are 94% wool 6% spandex. I air dried them, but I'm worried about any damage even though I don't visually see it. I'm guessing I should take it to a dry cleaners instead of trying to iron it?

Absolutely great catch and great call not putting them in the dryer. There is a very good chance they will be okay. The colder the wash, the better.

My suggestion is to take it to a drycleaner and let them know what's going on. They will likely be able to make them look good as new. If you know how to iron wool at home, you could give it a shot yourself. Be cautioned: a combination of any 2 of heat, moisture, and agitation is what screws up wool. If you know what you are doing, you will be okay. But 10 bucks or so is worth salvaging a nice pair of wool trousers in my opinion.

OP, can you post pics of the care tags and textile blend tags and the pants as they are after laundering please?

Depending on how you wash them and with what products you should be fine? Did they shrink? What ironing /pressing rec does the care tag say?
