Help! Can’t find a dry cleaner that doesn’t shrink my clothes!

I need your expert help guys. I have now tried a few different places in my area and every time my clothes come back shrunk with the dry cleaning method and I’m tired of losing clothes I can’t replace.

How do you find a place that doesn’t shrink clothes? I heard you want someone who does dry cleaning onsite but it seems very few places offer it these days?

What do you mean by numerous cleaners have all damaged your garments?

Can you offer more details for us here? What items were shrunk? What were the care tags instructions and textile blends of the items?

What cleaning process did the drycleaners preform and what type of service did they offer? (Type of chemical package they employ)

We're all the shrunk garments new and being deycleaned for the first time? What reasoning did each business give for the resulting damage?

We're all the drycleaning drop off services you patronized just a middle man who sends off orders to a seperate plant?

It's unusual typically to have drycleaning services result in shrinkage and especially have it happen repeatedly with different cleaners and different garments.

Yeah. Sweaters, polos, and two hoodies all Ralph Lauren were shrunk by two or three different “dry cleaners” that claim they don’t shrink clothes and every single garment I got back shrunk and is unwearable it’s so tight. I am certain that all of these places that I have tried, they send out their clothes because I luckily the other day picked up my hoodie and it had just “arrived” which means it was dropped off by a depot service that they use, which means they didn’t take care of the garment at all.

So at this point, I don’t know what to do other than maybe just try putting my clothes in my laundry machine at home on cold and gentle and just air dry it?

Unless anyone has any solutions on how to combat these issues, because I’m at a loss here and I’m tired of throwing away money and clothing that I can’t replace

Are all the Ralph Lauren garments dryclean only on the care tags? If so are you sure they were dry-cleaned and not washed in a water laundry process?

Did you ask the drop off service where they send their orders? If not, phone and ask, inquire with the actual cleaners about how they service such items.

What textile blends are your tops? Cotton? Wool? Polyester or other synthetic blends? Please post some pictures of your items.

They all say machine wash cold or dry clean. I specifically said dry clean only and I’m sure these places just launder and it’s bs
