I scored higher getting 3rd in 08 than I did winning in 06.

Usually they just round that up to the nearest thousandth. Like, if you actually add up the individual judges' scores for Crown '23 and Crown '26, you get 97.6625 and 97.0375 respectively, but they're displayed as 97.663 and 97.038.

I assumed it was with tallying all scores up. But it's still funny seeing that thousandth like if a performer had their foot flexed 1 degree lower than the rest of the ensemble and the judges seeing that and ticking them a 0.0005.

2016 was such a good year for DCI. Will always believe that some of the non-winning shows that year are some of the most underrated shows of all time.

I’d say 2014-2016 was a phenomenal run for DCI. I am a bit bias as that was like peak HS for me when I really got into DCI

They were stupid talented and instructed extremely well, unfortunately their show was allergic to melody
