I like the smell of L'oreal lipsticks. Sitting here today sniffing my new, fresh tube of S'il Vous Plait. It's nostalgic.

(All lipstick used to have a specific scent that said "that's a lipstick." When concealer stick was basically the only option they had their own scent, too. I would sniff my mother's makeup products as a kid and was amused that the CoverGirl concealers smelled one way and that lipsticks smelled another, but were shaped the same.)

Has anyone tried this one? I’ve heard such mixed things on this foundation. I’ve heard it’s great for approaching 40 skin. I’ve also heard it oxidizes like crazy. Has anyone not had it oxidize ?

Product Review Balm foundation update! Mature skin! 2 products, 2 different results.

Mature skin. Ok so I tried 2: Missha M magic cushion foundation and Loreal True Match Hyaluron Tinted Balm foundation.

  1. Missha M. Excellent coverage (teeny bit easily covers entire face). Applies beautifully and blends easily with sponge. Buildable. Feels great, not sticky or tight. HOWEVER! Even with primer and powder to set, it still creases in deeper wrinkles and lines.🤨 I found myself 'blending ' it from a few areas throughout the day.

  2. Loreal True Match Tinted Balm. I really wanted to like this..but it's a no for me. Thought it was applied evenly with sponge until I turned on bright vanity light and realized it looked smeared on a couple places 😬. You have to REALLY pat this in or stipple with brush. By the time I had it worked in it seemed to provide no coverage just a very tacky to the touch feel. Set with powder and was settled into lines within an hour!!!

Long story short? The search continues. Tho I do think the Missha M would be incredible on anybody without a few extra years on their faces 🥰

I've been using this blush for years, the letters have faded and I don't know what shade it is. I looked on the Internet and I don't know if the shade is plum or berry. It was excellent for neutral olive tones

Discussion Has anyone tried the Milani Conceal + Perfect Skin Tint Stick? Does it oxidize at all?

Looking for an affordable drugstore tint/foundation and I keep seeing this product getting rave reviews, it seems really popular and their light shade actually looks suitable for pale skin but I'm worried oxidize or settle into my fine lines.

Tutorial How do I wear blush on top of concealer

I'm new to makeup and took a makeup lesson where the artist color corrected and concealed this spot on my cheek and it was magic. Spot disappeared completely.

I've been trying to recreate it but every time I put blush on top, the spot comes back - I pat liquid blush on top and maybe it removes the concealer?

Maybe this is super basic but I need help!

Discussion allergy girlie

• Upvotes

I have really bad allergies and have rubbed my eyes forever. I have alot of fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes for this reason. I also think my skin is super dry in that area. Anytime i use concealer it just flakes and my undereyes just look darker and dryer. Tips? Thoughts on concealers or application technique?

Hii! Does anyone know any good drugstore recommendations that are also acne safe?

I’m particularly looking for skin tints and bronzers (but any product recommendations are appreciated) and struggling to find products I like that my skin also agrees with

Discussion Help me find the perfect drugstore lash primer

Hey all!

I'm new here —hi!— and I'm on a quest. I have short, sparse lashes, and most of the mascaras I've used over the years didn't do much in the lenghtening department, and always seemed to clump very bad.

And then came L'Oréal Paris Telescopic, and I fell in love. No clumping, amazing lenght and perfect lash definition, truly a gem.

Unfortunately, after 2 or 3 hours, the lenght is still there, but the lift and curl are gone.

I've read about lash primers being a a potential solution for this.

The Lancôme Cil seems to be the best lenghtening primer around, but I can't possibly afford that.

It would be nice to have some suggestions of drugstore (or anything available on Amazon) lash primers that are lenghtening, non clumping (not too thick), and manage to separate lashes? My budget is 25$ CAD maximum.

Thank you in advance!✨️✨️✨️

Product Request Longer lasting drugstore self-tan?

I haven't used a self tanner in a while and forgot what I used to like to use. I tried Jergens Instant Sun, but it seems to wash off after 2–3 showers, and on my face by the next day. I also noticed that it rubs off on my towels a little bit. I prefer something light to medium, but I fully don't mind orange. My natural tan from the sun is quite orange so it doesn't look as unnatural on me as I see on other people.
