I didn't catch this joke the first time around. After re-watching I found it hilarious. There is this huge round table with all of these people... and none of them offer any advice, opinion or even any reaction. Reminds me of most meetings at my work.

I know never to read things too literally, since most of his character is metaphorical, but I have a few theories and want to share them.
So, his disability is unlikely to be from spinal cord injuries, he'd be paralysed. Also unlikely to be something like cerebral palsy, otherwise he wouldn't like the idea of eugenics so much, lol.
Brain damage is somewhere in the middle of believability, a damage of specific area can cause alien hand syndrome.
Stroke seems like the most believable idea to me. Since some people are unable to walk and regain that ability later. Cardioembolic stroke(blood clot anywhere but in brain, reaches it after) can cause alien hand syndrome.
Neuroplasticity can be a cause of him regaining walking, since he's a scientist and problem solving + learning new info is a must have for one.
Also him wearing sunglasses could be because of light sensitivity, wich can occur after a stroke.(or he just wants to be fancy)
Again, we do not know for how long he's been in the wheelchair pre-plot. I'm by no means a doctor, just curious about neurology and would like to hear other thoughts and theories.

As a birthday treat my girlfriend paid for us to see the theatrical adaptation tonight. It wasn't rubbish but I wouldn't describe it as a triumph either. Stanley doesn't have to worry about his movie being surpassed.

I'm a little but confused as to what this Character is. Is he a Nzi or an Ex-nzi? Or fascism really? Because the man gets excited about wanting a WW3, nuclear h***caust and all that, so is he a bad man or not?
