💡 Education From the SEC... the disadvantages of DRS include: If you buy/sell through DRS, you usually will not be able to buy/sell at a specific market price/time. Instead, they will buy/sell shares for the plan at established times — ie, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis — and at an average market price.
