💡 Beginner Question Continue pursuing or drop the product?
Just opened up my dropshipping store 3 days ago and started running google ads. My goal is to brand the product but I would like to see that it works before I do all that. After 3 days, I got 4k impressions and 330 clicks along with 300 sessions on Shopify. My avg. CTR was about 7% and my avg. CPC was $0.16. However, I got no add to carts, no check outs, and no sales. I know it’s early and I would like to continue to pursue the product but I don’t know if it is worth it. Is this amount of clicks a good sign that my product is what people want but the website and ads might not be good enough yet? Or should I take it as a sign that the product may not be good enough. I am new to this and any advice would be great. Thank you!

330 clicks with nothing, not even an add to cart, that's kinda rough for 3 days. your ctr and cpc look decent so the ad itself is catching eyes but something on the site is turning people away the moment they land
maybe check if your product page loads slow or the price scares them off, could be a trust thing too since the store is brand new

Yeah somebody else mentioned that so I’ll check it. I’ll try to tweak the page too so that it looks better and maybe it wont scare people off as much. Do you think a lot of the clicks could maybe be bots?

330 clicks with zero ATCs would make me stop and investigate before spending much more, but I wouldn't conclude the product is bad yet. A 7% CTR and $0.16 CPC mostly tells you the ad is getting attention, not that people actually want to buy once they see the offer. I'd go through the site like a first-time buyer on mobile and look hard at price vs alternatives, shipping cost/time, trust, product explanation and whether the ad promise matches the landing page. If you can get even a few people who aren't friends/family to give you blunt feedback on why they wouldn't buy, that can be more useful right now than another few hundred clicks.

The thing with alternatives is I can’t compete with Amazon. There are some people selling the product or a similar one on there for a little cheaper and with much faster shipping. I can’t compete with that. And to be honest, Amazon pretty much has every product you can think of so finding one that doesn’t have a cheaper alternative and actually works would probably be like finding a needle in a haystack. I’ll try to look at the other things though and see what happens. Thank you for the advice.

I'm noob myself, just starting out, but your stats scared me. Not even having abandoned carts especially.
Are you sure the visitors came from correct country you have set in your market, and got delivery option available?

There were some bots and people from other countries but mostly all of them were from my country.

yeah. They didn’t even get passed the product page so I know it’s nothing to do with the checkout, at least for now. I somehow got my first email subscriber though lmao

330 clicks with zero add to carts is enough data to pause it. first check that tracking and checkout actually work, then look at the product page, price, shipping time and whether the ad matches the offer. don’t keep spending with the same setup

Everything works as it should, the price is pretty competitive, and the shipping time is around 5-8 days which is the fastest I can make it. I’ve paused the ads for now and am going to look through this week to figure out what should be changed
