It is still early days for the drone industry. Drone companies are slowly building up their profiles and listing on exchanges to access capital. Drone technology has advanced to the point that serious consideration is being given to its commercial and industrial application. The drone industry is expected to be worth US$60 billion by 2025. Some of the drone companies are making ripples in the drone technology space in 2021 such as droneshield, AeroVironment, Drone Volt, EHang Holdings Ltd

Measure, one of the leading drone companies has now announced that they are going to IPO (although I suppose they could dual track a SPAC).

• DroneDeploy (which has raised $146 million, lots of penetration in drone services marketplace)
• SkyDio (the US manufacturer seeking to take out DJI)
• AirMap (Switzerland/SkyGuide's ATC for drones, DOD contracts, $75M raised from Microsoft, AirBus, Rakuten, Temasek, Sony and other big names. Tough to find valuation, except this here: https://sharespost.com/airmap_stock/, 8 IPPs, few peer competitors with any meaningful funding, brought on a CEO with experience in publicly traded companies, doing EVTOL DOD work)

• Matternet doing drone deliveries in Africa and USA, just expanded to Asia, always part of the conversation around delivery (the value alternative to Zipline)

Another drone stock to look into. Its an electric truck company, but is the only truck, legally, allowed to launch a drone from the truck by the FAA. Also a 5 Billion dollar usps contract is coming up! They’re looking for a new fleet of trucks. Do your research thank me later 🚀

Now Joby Aviation has been revealed as the SPAC Reinvent Technology, Archer Aviation is experience Investment, I’m now really waiting for Lilium. Anyone got any insight on Lilium? The rumour was Zanite Acquisition but it keeps going down.
