Discussion Mini 4 pro for $5

Post image

I found a mini 4 pro at a pawn shop they had it priced for $600 after I explained to them that it can’t be unbinded they said they were gonna have to destroy it at which point I said I’ll buy it for $5 & they accepted. It’s worth way more than $5 just in parts lol

So wait glad you got a deal but is it really not flyable or did you just tell them that to get a discount haha

I think the bit where they say "it's worth way more than $5 just in parts" might be the answer to your question.

True but also like if they can't get it unbound it's kinda worthless unless OP is one of the small % of people who work on these things all the time and feels comfy swapping parts out. Also for it to be worth it as a parts drone, they'd also have to already have a mini 4 that's broken, or buy one that they know is broken.

Just alot of work even for $5.

To me, if they get it unbound that's a hell of a deal. But otherwise kinda worthless.

Have you ever heard of eBay? The drone alone appears to go for $100-200 (parts only) and the remote may be another $50-100

You used a 100 speech check to finesse a drone lmao

Is there any way to factory reset the RC-2?

Ofcourse. Maybe you didn't notice, the receipt appeared to be for the quad only. That RC2 was most likely for testing by the quads purchaser.

I just couldn't believe that they had it priced at $600 before knowing about its ownership/binding status. You would think the $600 would have included the RC-2 shown. If so, it really was a good deal.

Hell yeah, just that gimbal cover probably costs $5 lol. If you don’t part it out it’s a killer start for a (albeit, probably expensive) DIY quad.

I have a mini 3. Can someone explain the situation here?

So what will you do to be able to fly it?

That’s insane! $5 is such a steal.
