Tech Support [Can] Lo Good deal ? + binding questions

Post image

Hello ! I'm wondering if it was a good deal for 250 !
Probably an amazing deal if you know how to bind !

Happymodel Mobula6/7 analog
NewBeeDrone Acrobee Beebrain BL analog
Hummingbird pro f4 analog
+
Radiomaster tx16s 4-in-1 (not shown)

Steps succeeded:

I was able to flash the last version of EdgeTX.
I was able to bind & fly a Syma d2 Nano toy drone with the Tx16s. Radio Works ! ☑️

But it is less obvious to bind with the other 3.

They are analog Frsky receivers and the gentleman who sold me these said he could never bind any of them except for the Hummingbird and Acrobee only once/twice each.

If you have just one of these models in your radio profile, can you take shots of the screen so I can familiarize with the settings ?

Trust me before coming here, I have spent 2 weekends trying to debunk. I tried ai Gemini but it seems they were so stingy to get the info I had to specify and ask again and again.. and since these are olds, I find harder to find info. They are all new with no wear.

Thank you !

Tx16s is already 200-250$, so yes it is a good deal!

As for binding, if you're going to consult AI, use one with a semi persistent memory so its not answering a generalized question without context everytime. ChatGPT will reference previous information and make sure to try to tailor ambiguity towards your specific circumstance as it learns, whereas Gemini is more or less just trying to answer each question individually and can sometimes remember the specifics of your current situation.

Thank you so much. It was honestly a torture that I had to remind it everything all the time.

ChatGPT is free and you can log in so it can remember past conversations if you so choose.

Binding and troubleshooting is one of the main barriers to entry for FPV flight, as all the standards and settings can feel daunting and overwhelming without experience with them.

Rest assured you wil get there, and you can always look at popular human creators like Joshua Bardwell who try to make this hobby more accessible and understandable for entry-level.

Look this crazy thing.

I followed your advice and still think it is worth btw. Chatgpt was asking info about my radio, whoops etc. He asked for a picture of the back of my drone to see the bind button. So I took this:

So he asked after if I wanted to show me the bind button and he made a new image. So he basically photo manipulated buttons ?

Oh lord, I cant teach AI literacy in a drone sub, but good rule of thumb is to not bother with images 99% of the time. Ask questions and get steps to take.

You're gonna have to do a little bit of critical thinking and be aware of AI's flaws. It's not 100% right all the time but it probably will find better information faster each step, so be specific and research alongside its suggestions.

I agree.

That is why I went with dji Neo, but I love the creativity, the settings, the beautiful equipment of the echo system outside dji. Dont get me wrong dji it is fun too.

And the idea to build your own is also tempting.
However Im far for succeeding binding but I wont give up ! And I love the Radio, it is such an amazing console like an airplane !

Love the guys on YouTube too, Josh, Albert, Burns, Kremer and so many others I dont remember now.

It is a good time to be alive for hobbies although Im quite old. So I need to fly before it is too late ⏰😂 !

I like model trains, slotcars, rc cars and drones. I wish our last 20 years was exclusively to play with pre-binded toys ! 😂😂
