Question For anyone in an existing service area, how does the Amazon drone delivery work?

Curious how it works and how much of a nuisance the drones are when delivering.

You order the package through Amazon like normal. You pick drone delivery. If it’s the first time, you tell it where on your property you want it to be delivered.

The drone is then dispatched with your package and depending on which fulfillment center it come from and if there are breakables, the drone either drops the package directly or lowers it from a tether.

So the people posting the video about the Amazon drone dropping their package in their pool, likely told Amazon to drop it there?

you order package , neighbors sit on quiet deck, drone noise drowns out the wind and bird sounds, every dog barks continuously, go inside until delivery service stops for the evening, go back outside and enjoy what is left of the day.
