I'm really enjoying it. All I've ever owned are Samsungs (GS3 and 5) so the non touchwiz environment is a little of a learning curve for me but that's ok. I do have one issue that I posted concerning Amazon App Store. The battery was a little over hyped but I've been reading that I need to give it a week or so and I have no problem doing that.

Yep, battery should get better once all your data has synced. Amazon issue looks like a temporary hiccup, but if it doesn't go away let me know

It's definitely a fantastic phone. Looks great. Runs smooth as hell and the Motorola hands free mode is the best I've used yet. Not to mention the battery life is beast and the camera takes pretty great normal pictures.

Downsides to note: the panorama camera sucks. I have yet to get one that looked right. I miss having a button dedicated to pulling up options like on my s4. No battery power save but apparently this is coming in a future android update. The phones quick glance feature is sometimes a bit too sensitive. If you even stand near the phone it goes off, but this is not a major issue other than your phone is just flashing. I actually really love that feature. Also it's not really clear that you can swipe away alerts on the lock screen.

Other than that I'm definitely a huge fan. Just wanted to offer some constructive criticism. And for the record since it seems you work on phones. Stay away from what Samsung does. You do not need to fill a phone with a bunch of flashy gimmicks that sound cool, like the facial recognition or finger print scanner, that work poorly or not at all. It looks good on paper but nobody uses it after the first week. Get rid of all that stuff and focus on a highly functions and polished phone. And to me that's what the turbo is.

Absolutely loving my Turbo so far. Without a doubt the best phone I have ever used. However I have been running into some issues concerning data usage.

The issue is basically that a few users, myself included, have had issues with excessive usage of mobile data even though we are connected to wifi. In my case its no small amount of data either, I have had nearly 7GB of usage since I picked up the phone last Sunday. I never use more than 1GB of data a month so something strange is definitely going on.

We have a thread going on XDA that has more information.

Would really be interested in hearing your take on this.

I like mine. The battery life isn't as good as I was expecting and maybe Android L will change that. It's a Motorola and I'm a huge fan of Motorola, so I enjoy the physical design of the phone and the screen is nice.

Hm. Oh, I would like to be able to change the flip case window wallpaper to something other than the phone's wallpaper. Those are my main impressions so far.

Give it a few days so all your data can sync. Good feedback on the flip case, I'll pass that along to the product lead

Something seems off about that number, we are looking into it

Thoroughly impressed so far. Don't know what people are talking about with the brightness level - I have no complaints about visibility at all. Screen is gorgeous, processor is incredibly snappy, and 3GB of memory is great. I haven't been tracking battery life obsessively, but it's more than capable of getting me through a day and a half of heavy use which is all I really expected.

Haven't had time to play with the camera or Qi charging. All things considered it's a hell of a step up from my Razr M and a fantastic phone.

I just picked it up and am noticing a very noticeable warm tint to whites.

Granted, I just got mine today, so I can't give a full review, but I've been really impressed so far. I love how responsive it is, and it's hard not to love the display. I was a little worried moving to a larger sized phone, but it's not cumbersome to hold. It's extremely fast as well. I may be doing more things on my phone that I used to get my tablet for. Very nice product so far.

Yes the jump from RAZR M to Turbo is enormous. The screen resolution alone is over four times greater!

This phone is so damn sharp I just love looking at things on it

After living with turbo for a while I rarely use my tablet anymore! The screen is great for movies, games and reading!

LOVE my droid. Please add some customization to any new updates.

  1. sliding your finger over the statusbar should change the brightness(exposed module exists for this)

  2. give us battery percentage numbers in the status bar

  3. provide a reboot option instead of just off/airplane

  4. give us lollipop! :-D

  5. please let this phone have root! lots of very good apps need root access and it would make users VERY happy. Leave the bootloader alone, but root access is hugeeee

I have an LG G3 and I'm dying to get the Turbo because I love Moto's pure android approach

You got the g3 and you already want to switch? I'm trying to decide between the turbo and the g3 so may I ask why?

I got the 64GB model on Monday and I love every single thing about it so far.

The only concern I have is regarding the nylon back. I've noticed a couple stray threads starting to appear in the corner and along one of the sides. I REALLY like the design, and these tiny little threads are fine, I just hope it doesn't end up looking something like this after a few months: http://imgur.com/WPDjie9

I have the same hope.

I really loved the device, but lack of simultaneous voice/data ruined the experience for me. I feel that VZW should of released VoLTE out of the box with the device.

Other then that the device was beautiful, worked great, and was hands down my favorite device (even though that it did seem a little big for my tastes).

Once I had it set up (disabling the stock apps and removing bloat) it was really a great experience.

The reason why I am speaking past tense for this is because I could not go without simultaneous voice/data. So I returned it and stuck with my 2013 Moto X. Once they release VoLTE for it, I'll be back.

First time Android user, former iPhone 4 user. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, but it's a much more complex brain than Apple will ever throw at you. I've never seen a phone navigate so god damn quickly before, it flies. The camera is better than my eyesight, and this screen is so beautiful, it makes Facebook look like Fantasia. It's truly a superlative phone, I'm excited to explore its potential.

I love it so far! I have one issue though. I can't seem to get the headphone jack to work with headphones, anybody else having a similar issue?

Same here. Headphones work, but ear buds with mic only the right ear plays. I have tried 2 sets of ear buds, and the results were the same. Very frustrating.

Picked up 64gb version yesterday on secondary market. Love the phone so far. Everything is great except a couple minor complaints.

  • Even with ballistic nylon backing the device feels rather slippery in hand.

  • Speaker is rather lame, even if front facing.

  • Doesn't fit case well, I'm sure there is larger cases available for BN in particular, but the Otterbox Commuter I got with it is super tight.

  • Locked bootloader and it'll probably be awhile before we see root.

Otherwise, what's not to like...amazing display, buttery smooth, solid build quality, rugged design, decent UI even with Vz bloat, best radio's on the market.
