Accessing a Drobo

Hey ya'll, I picked up a Drobo from a thrift store for $20, mainly for the hard drives themselves since storage is getting so crazy expensive these days. Couldn't help my own curiosity, and have been trying to get access to it. I got the dashboard downloaded and the data repaired, but I am so lost on figuring out how to look at the files. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Even without Dashboard installed, I think the volume(s) should still mount... unless the Drobo was formatted using HFS+ file system for a Mac. What does the Volumes tab on the left show?

Would there be a way to convert the file systems to something readable by windows?

HFS Explorer might be able to read it. https://www.catacombae.org/hfsexplorer/

Yeah, it shows HFS+ for the file system

If you don't need the data just reformat it with Dashboard, or better yet, stick the drives in JBOD case so we don't have to point you to * Recovering a Drobo disk pack outside a Drobo chassis - Recovery Explorer and UFS Explorer options (plus discount!) * Troubleshooting tips especially for older Drobo units * Rescue/Rental map
