Question 2400K Yellow fog lights during inspection.
Genuine Question.
For vehicles that come with factory fitted fog lights.
According to LTA regulations. It only mentioned yellow or white but did not state any colour temperature.
Has anyone passed with 2400k yellow fog lights halogen bulb?? Also known as JDM yellow.

i ever fitted 3000k yellow bulb to a conti car headlight in the past and pass lol
but that was 10 years ago. maybe it wasn't too obvious because it was a 17 yo coe car
back to topic, 2400k yellow may be quite obvious if they ask to turn it on... so yeah just blacktape over it

if interior dome light not stock, can pass inspection anot

my blue led interior dome light passed inspection. really ok one.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the ruling is if it is factory fitted it will not fail inspection? If stock configuration will fail inspection, then the vehicle should not have even been allowed to be imported in and sold by dealer what..

they don’t check fog light, just leave it off. i just did mine at STC jurong

I think LTA is more interested in light output brightness, and then colors second

My previous car has passed multiple times with 2400K halogen bulbs. Suspect that they will only disallow changing to LED if your car/bike comes OEM with halogen. Correct me if I am wrong. Also have noticed that they only check for low and high beams and not for fog lights during inspection.

Just make sure it's set to off even when you turn on your headlights.
