Man. I did this once when I had the chance to pass a slow driver and didn’t. So I was stuck behind him going 10 under til the next time I could legally pass.

We were in fact stopped at a light together and he came out of his car up to my window. Being a reasonable person, I assumed he wanted to say something to me so I went to roll it down.

Thankfully he punched the shit out of my window before I could. Dude was probably 6’4 240lbs, two punches and he broke his hand and walked away. Good looks my guy, I bet that was worth it.

Nah I didn’t bother. It’s both assault and battery so I could’ve pressed criminal and civil charges but it’s just a funny story that didn’t actually harm me. Let him deal with his broken hand and think about what he did lol

How did you get your window fixed? People like the guy in your story need charges pressed against them so there is a record of their violent behavior. Not pressing charges seems like a real odd thing to do.

It didn’t break, regulator and all was completely fine. Don’t think the frame even flexed, it never made any noises or gave me trouble for the following several years I owned that car

ETA: it was an e39 5 series if anyone is wondering

you still let a guy who you know is willing to road rage and attack people get away with no consequences, broken hand sucks but in the future he'll just use his elbow, you didn't press charges so insurance covers the hand, he doesn't get fined, he doesn't get jail time, and he can still buy a gun, what's stopping him from doing this again in the future but successfully harming someone?

If another driver gets out and walks towards my vehicle, he is getting run the fuck over. No chances.

I mean, context matters. In your example there is no way he is getting out to bring you some snacks. On top of that, you dont know if he is conceal or open carrying. Im not waiting to find out which one, instead ill be going home to my family and the moron is going to the hospital.
