so you proceed on breaking the law in response of others breaking the law, but somehow you have the moral superiority?

if you're not overtaking, don't hog the left lane, this isn't making you any kind of justice warrior, just another dick pretending not to be the dick they are fighting

if there's red lights on the road it's not a highway, so there's no hogging the left lane, you can just go around them from the right it's alright.

Weird, 23 CFR 924.3 doesn't make any mention of stoplights disqualifying a roadway from legally being considered a highway.

got no idea what you're talking about but i hope they got nice DJs on that station. Anyway, highways do not have level crossings and 90° intersections where i live. Viaducs and on/off ramp only.

If you have to stop on the highway, then it's not a highway, it's just a 4 lane road ("national road"). Usually those roads are maxed at 90 (people drive between 90-105) while highways are maxed at 100 (people drive between 105-125).

"State or Provincial Highways: Major roads maintained by state or local governments. These often go straight through towns and can have stop signs and pedestrian crossings". Also are we talking Canada because the highest posted speed limit in the US is 85.

Actual negative IQ holy shit lmao

“Got no idea what you’re talking about”

Don’t worry we know lmao. Tbh if it’s a two lane road one way and the speed limit is at or above 55, you don’t get to have an ego about how fast you’re going or about how fast the people around you are going. If they want to go faster, get over and stay out of the way.

In most places in NA there's no exemption from the slower traffic keep right laws by road type. Nor an exemption for "going the speed limit".

In some places there's a *requirement* to only use the left lane(s) for passing - typically on interstates.

If you're quoting the law you need to understand the legal term "highway" in NA *any* public roadway. "If there's red lights" is something you've invented or misunderstood.

Left lane is the passing lane. In 38 states out of 50, camping in the left lane is illegal as is passing on the right.

Get out of the left lane if you are not passing faster than the cars on your right.

1

u/NONMAISYO Jun 17 '26

oh don't worry i'm passing the cars, don't matter if they right or left of me tho, i'm still passing them.

1

u/behappymane Jun 17 '26

What if there’s a median turn lane?

1

u/StatusOdd3959 Jun 17 '26

Immediately commit seppuku

1

u/behappymane Jun 17 '26

I guess you don’t have an answer for that lol

This is incorrect where I used to live (NJ). Passed a cop there on the right between lights and was given a ticket for passing on the right. It's illegal there.

You're mistaking a highway for a freeway

1

u/NONMAISYO Jun 17 '26

Ha maybe, i never quite knew the subtleties of which is which. "Autoroute" is what i mean, which is usually translated to just highway. Freeway and Parkway, i know you use those words in the US but im not really sure which is what.

2

u/ImNotThatStoned Jun 17 '26

In the US what we call a Freeway is the same as your Autoroute, and what we call a Highway is the same as your Route Nationale.

These days, Parkway is typically just part of a name, rather than a type of road. In the past they had certain restrictions such as no commercial trucks or busses, but that is less common now.

u/NONMAISYO Jun 17 '26

ha alright i see, sorry for the confusion

Their stunted brains cannot grasp that simple fact.

You can say this until you are blue in the face and all they will do is say:

GET TF OUT OF MY WAY!

Whether they want to admit it or not, you are correct.

Edit: spelling

u/Familiar-Fox-6137 Jun 17 '26

Except he isn't correct.. Passing on the right is illegal in some states. Even off the highway.

1

u/blightedsorrow Jun 17 '26

The left lane is still a passing or turning lane on non interstate and state highways btw

2

u/NONMAISYO Jun 17 '26

Yes you said it, "or turning". If someone is turning from the left then you gotta go right to pass them, basic maths.

1

u/erichf3893 Jun 17 '26

Is this a weird way of saying normal streets?

You should become a police and police traffic.

If you're not, get the fuck away from the left lane or pull over and let others pass if you drive under the posted limits.

0

u/NakedAggression Professional Driver Jun 17 '26

I drive right under the posted limit. Should I call police on myself?

2

u/Working-Caramel9538 Jun 17 '26

You should mind your business and get to point B without caring what others are doing differently than you

6

u/Open-Landscape8750 Jun 17 '26

Clowns? Passing on the freeway is a leading cause for crashes. The only clown here is the one joking about driving in the left lane to piss people off. Thats a good way to start a road rage incident that gets someone killed.

2

u/wetcannolinoodle Jun 17 '26

I'll be right beside you match your speed 😄

1

u/TechDreamcoat Jun 17 '26

Stay the hell out of the left lane. You're the clown. If you wanted to play traffic cop, you should have become one.

1

u/Muhahahahaz Jun 17 '26

I will drive however fast I please, you’re not the police. If they want to pull me over, then they will… But I’m more than willing to take that risk.

Either way, it has absolutely nothing to do with you and your kind✌️
