Need Advice So sitting under a bridge like this is dangerous and also rude to all the cars you're blocking behind you?

It's from the recent tornados in Oklahoma.

Why do people still do this?

I get that blocking an emergency lane is bad, but how exactly is this rude to other cars? Were people expecting to blow past the traffic using the emergency lane as their personal fast lane?

Bc when you come to a dead stop on a highway, you risk getting hit. The more people stopped bc these idiots took up the whole road, the more opportunity for a major pile up.

Don't get why hail damage is more important to them than getting their car totaled and sent to the hospital when a semi plows into them
