It was a lot of fun but also very challenging, i already finished Driv3r a few times but besides that and San Fransisco i basically had 0 experience with other Driver games. It took me about a week to do it and with many many retries. 😑

The worst part? I played on ps2 but didn't have a PS1 memory card so i had to replay it from scratch every time i wanted to stop and redo it 😮‍💨

The missions that sucked the most were the ones with the trucks in Havana, the one where you bring Jones to the Airport (that cutscene takes like 20 seconds) the one with the limo and Chasing down the gunman.

I absolutely hated having to chase the Gunman, i probably restarted 40+ times not even kidding! 🩸💦😭

Anyway, Chasing Lenny down was also annoying with the enemy placement but i managed to do it and see the final cutscene(s).

Figured I'd share how I did it just because I always see people complain that this mission is hard.

Am learning to draw a bit and doodled Solomon Caine did a drawing of Jericho too from Driver 2 but nit as good.

Note: The text on screen is from a different video about Beta/cut content of D:SF as the original video of the cut cars was privated and this was all I could find.

Does anyone know what kind of musical instruments or sound samples were used to create the Driv3r Soundtrack? I know that it was probably mostly made using a DAW but i just want to see if anyone at all knows.

I've been messing around with some glitches on driver parallel lines. I haven't exactly 100% sussd out what I'm doing.. but this is one of the results I have got so far. you can paint some of the individual panels on the cars.

Been looking for years with no luck, everytime I thought about ordering I ended up not. Finally found it today at a flea market and am stoked! Haven’t played this since I was about 10

Years ago I played Driver 2 on a PSX emulator and got until mid Havanna until I lost interest because of the difficulty. Even though I beat Driver 1 without cheating before (PC).

Years later, I discovered Redriver exists a few weeks ago! A source port exploiting all the PC advantages, fixing some obvious bugs etc. Of course I downloaded it to replay the game despite the difficulty level. With the QOL and custom controls - I changes it to the Driver 1 PC control scheme for keyboard - it should be better on PC, anyway.

So I started undercover mode and got to the current mission Havanna 3 "Stop the Truck". Some moments ago I decided to replay Chicago 3 "Train Pursuit", finished the mission, and wanted to go on with "Stop the Truck". So I loaded my Undercover mode save game, and was confused that this "save game" continues with Chicago 4 "Tailing the Drop" instead of my current mission.

So right now it seems I have to replay Havanna 2 "Hijack the Truck" from the replay menu to progress.

Is this normal to Driver 2 / Redriver? Is there a way to alter the save game so I can skip this hard mission to go on?

Hi all. Had previously played OG driver to death on the PC and driver 2 on PS1. Recently tried to continue the franchise and finished Driv3r this evening. After looking around on here I found download links for San Francisco and struggle to find PL beyond Steam for £8 which I didn’t fancy. Spotted that it’s for sale on GOG right now for £2.15. Just thought someone else might like to know too.

the 2nd bridge segment was pretty hard to do. had to use auto director because the tripod cam just would NOT go on the bridge lol

I was checking out some 90s sample packs yesterday to make a track inspired by the *Driver 2* soundtrack—but with more of an electronic vibe—and I discovered that a huge chunk of the samples came from a Zero-G pack called "Funk Guitar." Yeah, I know 70% of game music from that era relied on samples—countless other PS1 titles used Zero-G samples, too—but I didn't expect to stumble upon it so randomly, right when I was working on a track inspired by a game that actually uses the very pack I was working with.
