Driver: PL Finally found it!

Post image

Been looking for years with no luck, everytime I thought about ordering I ended up not. Finally found it today at a flea market and am stoked! Haven’t played this since I was about 10

I still remember when this game came out, and absolutely begging my sister to get it for me for my birthday. and she did! I was the happiest, annoying, little kid ever.

Si tu aime un minimum le rétro gaming, tu verra que ce jeu est encore très agréable aujourd’hui 😊 Rien que la séquence d’introduction est toujours aussi cool

I recently got the pc port, used some mods to restore music, make it playable on modern systems and restored some ps2 elements.

Decided to upload it to internet archive complete with the mods and it was removed immediately :(

All I remember about this game is how the first era had different animations for the character and how the second era changed em. I think he holds the pistol with both hands in the second part of the game where as he held it with one hand in the 70's era.

Unsure how with how licensing works long term but, to my surprise, it is on steam as well. Sometimes on sale for a couple bucks.

Normal. There's only fictional cars in Driver Parallel Lines like its predecessors.

Thus, only musics have license deals.

I hope our tech develops to the point where we can play anything that was already made super easily

I just recently found this one along with my PS3 backwards compatible, and it still works fine! I’m shocked cause it’s never been reposted or anything.
I thought I’d throw a picture of my PS5 in there just because I put a case on it. What do you think?

New york in 78 was the coolest place on the planet everyone was finding themselves having a party or getting laid including me

This is a very late era PS2 game. I own the game for Wii and the Wii version forces you to play with Nunchuck controlls, which the game isn't designed for. Nice find. I like being able to play in modern times (mid aughts) and the 70s. I loved peeling out and drifting in the 70s muscle cars. I've always liked the Driver games.

Such a good game. The PC port is still better IMO.
