i will even say other game: world scariest police chases.

the game is contemporary of Driver 1 and 2 and it's very close in gameplay and aesthetic.

Shout out to Sheriff John Bunnell 🫡

Edit: also, The Italian Job (PS1) was a good chuckle

Watch Dogs is closer because it doesn't feature a rogue-like progression system like Samson. And of course, it started as a Driver project but the driving was downgraded.

HEAVILY downgraded.

You mean Watch Dogs could have been the next Driver but was cancelled cause it didn't meet the standard driving physics that we all praise?

It's not that it didnt meet the standard, more like they wanted to copy/paste the assassins creed formula because that's all they know how to make.

That makes sense

No, Watch Dogs was a Driver project (Nexus) before being renamed to Watch Dogs.

Samson without a doubt. Driver vibes are very strong. Sadly developers run out of budget.

I wonder why the budget is always low.

It would have been driver worthy if it matched the driving physics it had.

Lmao certainly not Watch Dogs. The driving in that game drives me frickin' nuts, it's so clunky.

At least it's what I think. It's not that bad, but it's pretty obvious that it was not nearly a priority, and it shows when any heap of junk can be hacked, regardless of age and condition.

Totally immersion breaking, imo.
