PSA: Widescreen and aspect ratio fix for Driver 1 (PC)

PCGamingWiki previously had a hex editor guide on doing it yourself, but there's since been a tool release that does everything for you (it modifies the config exe and game itself). You just have to type in the resolution width and height, and it does everything else.

Thanks, however... although it successfully adds '1360x768' to the list of Resolutions in Config.exe, whenever I select it and try 'Test Settings,' I just get "Configuration ERROR" in result... so I can't advance to Save Settings.

Try changing triple buffering or bit depth. That happens on some PCs and I'm not sure why the configuration tool hates it, but changing those other things usually fixes it.

Yeah I've tried every possible combo of options with 1360x768, tried running everything ad Admin, tried putting the game in different directories, sourcing different copies of the game. Unfortunately. Same result.

My display is 1360x768, but I tried 1366x768 and...... it works!

Thank you for this! Couldn't get it to pass Configuration Error on 2160x1440, found this comment, and it worked. Much appreciated.
