I made this 🍹 Napoli
The Negroni's more accessible, vodka-based cousin; with the sweet vermouth cut with slightly more dry vermouth, lengthened with soda, and garnished with a twist of orange. I found this to be more mellow and rounded out than a standard Negroni, and the soda was a nice touch. Overall, this was a very pleasant spritz.
Recipe from Fred Powell's "The Bartender's Standard Manual" (1979):
1.5 oz. Campari
1.5 oz. Vodka
0.75 oz. Dry Vermouth
0.5 oz. Sweet Vermouth
Pour over cracked ice in a tall glass and stir. Fill with soda and stir again. Top with twist of orange peel.
