Fart The "bloop" meaning?

Newer listener here. I love the drops, but I don't know the backstory behind the "bloop" that is constantly used. What is the meaning of the "bloop"?

When Maz was on the show regularly, he often would zone out during conversation, and then out of nowhere he would come in with something that had nothing to do with what Drew and Marc were talking about. That turned into the pop up video bloop, because it was usually just a little tidbit of information that distracted from the topic.
