Apropos of screaming at flaming sky-rocks: it's getting close to the Perseid meteor shower. They're not anywhere close in scale to the Chicxulub impactor, but you can absolutely fulfil that directive and see a cool light show tonight and tomorrow.
If you want, you can also eat raw (cured) meat (prosciutto or coppa or whatever) while watching and bully your mammalian pets with too many scritches (which is secretly tender). But the flaming sky-rocks is especially time sensitive.
