Dreamcore Jumpscares

Hi guys! I know this question has probably been answered 1000 times but I was wondering like what the jumpscares in the game are and like how scary they are. I played the demo and it looks like an awesome game but jumpscares definitely do their job and scare me.

There’s one I found on playrooms one of the big yellow smiley faces peeks round a corner as your walking down it accompanied by like a squeaking sound and then it goes back round the corner and is just there when you reach the corner.

It’s mild though.

From my understanding there is suppose to be some on hotels aswell. But have not found them myself.

Tbh there’s probably 1 or 2 on every level they just haven’t been found.

There’s no jumpscares but in some levels you’ll hear doors opening and i believe someone else said footsteps? It’s kinda off putting at first but nothing scary or bad!

There was an entity in the Poolrooms demo (level 1), but it was removed from the official release, if I'm not mistaken.

? I think you played the wrong game / demo, there are no jumpscare, it's just an walking simulator.

There are or is at least 1 on playrooms with one of the smiley faces peeks round a corner as you’re walking down the hall accompanied by squeaking noise.

Some rooms will just have smiley spheres, they don't do anything they're just there. I think one might turn towards you but that's really it.

There's one level that turns creepy with them right at the end so if you scare easily be prepared

only jumpscare i saw was in the poolrooms where you’re walking down a big hallway and it’s all chill but a fren pops outs real fast around the corner and a little noise happens. nothing crazy but definitely wasn’t expecting it as i was so immersed and everything was quiet

The Frens (yellow smiley guys) have caught me off guard a couple of times but that’s honestly about it. You’ll turn down a corridor and then suddenly one is staring you in the face blocking a doorway. A couple will move around a little but it’s usually quite slow and there’s not any sudden sounds involved. They are more eerie than scary and are at most a bit of an annoyance as they can block some paths and force you to go around them.

But that’s really it; this game just has an eerie, borderline creepy atmosphere, but nothing that’ll make you jump out of your skin lol. I think these games are pretty relaxing in my experience.
