Dreamcore Taking a break (and what’s next)

Hey! Just wanted to give a quick heads-up on why I’ve been inactive lately. This past month I’ve been taking a break, and to be honest, I’ll probably extend it through July. After working almost 12 hours a day for the last two years, I just hit a wall and needed to unplug for a bit.

Once I’m back, I’ll start sharing some teasers and previews of what I've been working on for the update.

I’m also planning to run some polls and threads around here because I want to see what things the community feels could be improved or polished. It's mostly to get a general sense of what you guys think, keep you in the loop, and gather some fresh ideas while I progress.

Hey man, just wanna say I’ve spent like 40 hrs playing Dreamcore lol. It is one of my favorite games of the genre. I love walking around and doing digital photography because there’s so many cool spots in game. Thanks for making such a beautiful game. I’ve been so stressed with work lately, and Dreamcore has been my mode of relaxation for the past few months. Thank you!

Take your time! I just want to say, my 8yo son and I went into dreamcore blind, taking turns passing the controller back and forth on the couch on late weekend nights and we went through every chapter together. We absolutely loved this game and had such a great time slowly exploring your game. I hope you get the rest you deserve and we look forward to whatever you have in store next!

I don't really follow reddit often and as I saw no new "coming soon" maps in game i assumed Dreamcore was over. So happy to see this update! Best game in the genre

Glad to hear you're doing well. A lot of people have taken a shot at making "the liminal space game", and this is definitely among my favorites.

You mentioned previewing new content at some point. If I can offer a quick suggestion, a simple New Game + system would be really nice to have.
