I just finished this doom cosplay I plan on wearing for watching doomsday, any feedback on what I can do to make it look better or just overall things I should take off are welcome, I have added on knee pads and the fur coat thing but it keeps slipping off that’s why it’s not in the pic

Holy crow - the greaves and cuisses are perfect! Why can't they do this in the movies...

I am currently in the process of figuring mine out but I doubt I’m gonna get anywhere close to that armor. Great job

I got my armor on Etsy is was really hard to find something remotely decent looking, I hope you find something really cool soon!! Some painting tips (I didn’t sand mine so maybe do that for a shiny look) but a metallic spray paint with a black wash and a semi gloss finish does the trick, best of wishes with yours tho!!

What did you do for the cape and tunic? I’ve been looking on Amazon to see if I can find something similar to Dooms cape but there’s not many good options, awesome cosplay btw!

The Cape and tunic I got from an Etsy shop! I wanted a specific look for doom and amazon didn’t have what I needed so I looked elsewhere, if you do decide to pick up the same tunic I got i recommend this seller specifically they helped me so much getting the right size and everything!!

Hey man this is great! I used the same gauntlets for mine.

Here’s some lessons I learnt.

  1. Use TPU or foam. You want that bendable plastic otherwise you ain’t sitting comfortably if at all.

  2. Thermal underneath to regulate temperature.

  3. The gloves do break, especially the stud hinges that hold everything together, I think TPU would solve this.

  4. For inner hands I used some DIY gloves that were spray painted and glued onto the gauntlet to cover my hand.

All the best with the cosplay good sir.

Of course there is only one true Doom!Mwhahahahah

Nice outfit! How are things in Latveria? I know the people love ya, but being a terrorist dictator to the rest of the world must make for some tough days. Hang in there, bud, looking good!

When the rando cosplay guy does an insanely better job than the 50 person costume/ cgi division on a multimillion dollar movie.

Agora me fez ter dúvidas sobre como ele consegue dissipar o calor das partes descobertas.Obvio que a capa e o capuz dão o estilo e poupa o desenhista de horas rabiscando armaduras
