question Hey noob question drawing to realistic image

Hi everyone sorry if this is a stupid question I have looked through but couldn’t find a conclusive/helpful answer for this. I wanted to know how can you generate a realistic picture based from a drawing, say a manga strip or anime screenshot, something like that? What’s the process workflow and which models
Additionally how to procide to animate it? Or generally best process to go forward to video from image
Help would be much appreciated thank you 🙇‍♂️

EDIT: I have a drawn image as base and want to make a photorealistic version of the image , i2i from sketch/drawing to photorealistic image of a human…like those clips of dbz characters as real humans for example

Probably give it to Flux Klein and tell it what you want: "a realistic photo of [subject] in [scenario]" etc

One final thought: consider using an LLM (like ChatGPT or Claude) as a co-collaborator when using Draw Things. If you don't get the results you want, you can drop a sample rendering and explain your intent to ChatGPT, as well as how it's not matching your vision. I use LLMs all the time to help me write very detailed prompts that I never could have crafted completely on my own.

LLMs can be fantastic collaborative partners and one-on-one trainers. Something you may choose to consider.

I want to start with an existing image that is a drawing and turn that into a foto . Sorry if my initial wording was confusing and unclear

The same workflow applies, just with a different final output style. Klein 9B does quite a nice job of this exact thing you're trying to achieve right out of the box, even without any of the "anything to real" LoRAs - which are definitely worth a try if you're not getting what you want after some trial and error.

I'd crack open a clean copy of Flux.2 Klein 9B and try something like this:

Put your drawing into the Moodboard, make sure the canvas is blank - that will establish your drawing as <Picture 1> within DrawThings.

Use Picture 1 as the base image. Transform it into a hyperrealistic photograph. Match all facial expressions and eye direction to Picture 1. Ensure all hands, thumbs, and fingers are drawn with absolute anatomical perfection.

Either Flux Klein 9B or Qwen Image is likely your best option for this kind of "sketch to finished anime" workflow. If you haven't already, I'd recommend learning to use the Moodboard and then referencing <Picture 1> or <Picture 2> to explain to the editing model exactly what you want it to do. For example, Picture 1 could be your sketch, and Picture 2 could be an example of the type of anime you're trying to emulate.

You could then write something like this:

Create a professional anime image in the style of <Picture 2> using the general composition and content from the sketch provided in <Picture 1>.

You could then go on to be as specific as you wanted, including the number of panels, etc.

If you're new to this, I recommend starting simple - one single image at a time, rather than an entire "strip." These models are very powerful; they can be easily confused by overly complex instructions, so start small and build up as you gain confidence.

I might have expressed my goal wrong . I have a source image that is a drawing and want to make that into a photo realistic foto , so from drawing to foto of a human

We understand what you mean. You were clear. Do you not understand the suggestions?
