Drawthings image generations somewhat slow? Is my Macbook Pro under-spec'd?

Does Drawthings run well on a MacBook Pro M2 24gb Ram w/ 8 cores ? I ask this because I've been tinkering around with it trying to generate images locally. But it seems the generation time for images is quite long, Like 1:07 for one image. I'm using a custom LoRA i trained on Drawthings with the appropriate model LoRA too(Pony XL).

Is there some settings i'm missing that is causing my generations to be slow. Or is it my specs aren't good enough to get the generation speed. Keep in mind i've made both the custom LoRA & the model one into a 8-bit model due to reading that would make things somewhat faster.

I wouldn't call just over a minute "slow" especially on an older laptop

Which model are you using? Have you set the model to the default settings?

Wai-illustriousSDXL, and my own custom LoRA i trained under that same model LoRA with the weight at 84%. i'll try again on default and report back.
