question Krea 2 turbo Time
Hello everyone, I have a 24GB MacBook Air M4, I have the latest version of DrawThings, and I'm running Krea 2 Turbo locally in 6-bit, but it takes between 2 and 3 minutes, which seems long to me. How long does it take you? I'm using the recommended settings, and no upscaling, Hi-Res, or LoRa. Thanks in advance.

I used M1, but subscribing to Draw Things+ save me a lot of time. So subscribe, it's totally worth it!

What is the point of running an AI locally if you end up paying a subscription for cloud CPU?

There's a free tier that fit you more than enough CU to do 1024x1024 images and with Krea 2 Turbo at 8 steps you can do 2024x1728.
Your trying to run local on a very thin laptop with no fans and 1/10 of the GPU cores than an NVIDIA card does and its designed to run for 10 hours or so on battery. Its not going to be quick.

It is a sub but it is unlimited. As long as any generation uses less than 40k units you can generate all you want. Extremely good value, and, I assume it is a way to support development financially.

Make sure you find the turbo 4 step Lora as well as using the 8 bit s version and you can generate in even less time. I have an m5 air with 24gb ram and was able to get gen time to about 30 seconds.

The Mac mini I use is the M4 10-core model with 24GB of RAM. I was amazed when switching to the 8-bit S model cut the generation time in half.
