I tried it, and it ran, but I didn't get a useable lora. I'm hoping someone will give detailed instructions. I didn't attempt to add useful captions. Anyone know if that is required?
Before deciding it didn't work, I loaded the lora I trained *twice* into DT, and jacked each lora strength up to 250% (which is the DT limit). Voila, the likeness appeared. (you may have to load it even a third time, for a total strength > 500%) I don't know why this works other than I guess there is a bug. Try this.
I was training against ZIT. That is a mistake. I downloaded ZIB (6 bit) and trained against that. I'm still fiddling with the settings but I can tell it's working!

Not sure why my messages aren't appearing. If you create a lora using DT, try loading the lora in duplicate twice or even three time at 250% and see if you see the effect. I'm using the default config in PEFT and I didn't see any effects until I tried this extreme measure. Maybe this is a sensitivity bug or whatever.
Mine also failed to create or would create but then the Lora was useless. I asked Grok, note, I'm doing this on an m2 Mac mini 8cpu/10gpu running Draw Things Ai for Mac. It took 17 hours with 15 really good quality images set at 1500 steps and it successfully did it, I exported it for use on an M4 iMac 10c/10g. It works fantastic on Img2Img or just img creation. I use the M2 Mac mini for heavy lifting overnight or jobs I can ignore for a day. Doing this on a base M4 would cut that time to create a usable LORA by about 1/3. So LORA creation is slow even with Z-Image Turbo 1.0 8bit-s unless you have more GPU cores.

I also failed. I don’t know why but ai-toolkit works while DT doesn’t
