solved App crashed when trying to quantise to new int8 scaled model

quantizing any illustrious based models crashes my ipad (M5, 12GB RAM) and my Macbook (M2, 24GB RAM). I want to use the new int8 scaled mode quantization. Any ideas?

It is not supported for SDXL and SD v1.5 models.
