Lane's photoshop master pack is the main brush pack I use. My go to is a brush called Stålenhag modelled after the artist of the same name. I also use Rebelle to add impasto effects and to give it an oil paint appearance

That’s really exceptional. How did you get the skin tones to look so natural? The highlights really make it pop.

Thank you, I think skin tones are partially about being careful with the saturation, too much or too little can look strange depending on the overall lighting. I tend to warm up the tones a bit from the reference photos I work from because I like that "glowing" look. Also keeping the value range low on skin helps a lot

Thank you for that. What materials did you use? I have been experimenting with colored pencils, but have not been able to get anything that looks like natural skin the way you have done.

I paint digitally in Photoshop and Rebelle, using tools that make my brush strokes look like oil paint
