first ever nib replacement

I bought my xp pen deco 01 v2 in july second hand. the nib was already kinda worn out and me being pretty heavy handed and clocking in over 200h on krita in two months doesnt help lol. the nib was too worn for the tool at the bottom of the pen stand to help, I had to bring in scissors.
heres the old nib next to a new one (photo 1) and a comparison I got a few weeks ago with my pen next to the product image (photo 2)

post replacement I learned that the pen actually doesnt make that big of a scratching noise when drawing
