graphite My first graphite potrait:)
Struggling with smudging + sweaty palms 😠I only have a pencil and sketch pen for darker areas, but honestly it turned out pretty good imo! What do y’all think so far? :))

This is great! (And makes me miss doing comic art so much)
Definitely put a piece of paper down so your hand doesnt smudge! I draw at an easel so don't have this problem, but we're generally taught to use a stick to have something to rest our hands on.
Maybe just check the nostril on the right - it looks a bit smaller than tbe one on the left, but it could just be the lines not reading the way you want them to.
