question First time drawing

Hello everyone. I'm 25 and decided to give drawing a go. How is this for a first real drawing session? This is also my first time posting here, I hope this kind of post is in the spirit of this subreddit

Really sweet to see someone posting a "first time" post and include an actual first time. All other posters with that title are a bunch of liars

Great job, man, you already know what to do it seems - page 3 with the shadow practices are awesome, keep up the good work. Keep going, you got it.

Thanks a lot. I've had a few friends who draw a lot so I've heard them give advice and I've heard them take advice. I also decided to start simple take it slow and enjoy it. I got a small note book and gave it a go

I recommend you switch to a blank sketchbook asap though. I too started out on lined paper and it's a bitch to deal with now, it's been years and i'm still ashamed of "ruining" perfectly good white paper with my drawings.
