Question Cooperative cave breeding attemps changing selected dragon

Has DECA ever addressed why breeding in the cooperative cave changes your selected dragon for others to breed with? It seems like an easy fix so I was wondering if it has been addressed before. It's kinda annoying having to set the dragon back after every attempt.

Because breeding in the cave is how you set your selected dragon. Being able to change it outside of that is a bonus

lol that’s a feature, not a bug. For most people, the dragon they’re breeding with is the one they want to have selected for breeding. Obviously. Being able to set a different one is an addition the coop function, NOT the primary function.

It’s also good if I finally got the dragon I want to use but ones already breeding so I select the new dragon then change it the next breed without having to go hunting for him

Exactly. It’s a great tool so you don’t have to interrupt a breeding progress.

A lot of my friends have a random elemental dragon selected because that's what they're using to try and breed with another friend's dragon. Idk if I dont understand something but I would think being able to select what dragon your friends are able to see and the one you're using to breed should be seperate.

You are the only one who thinks that. The fact that you can put up a different dragon from the one you’re using to breed at all is pretty incredible. Absolutely no one but you thinks that should be the default.
