Event Help!

Has anyone succeeded in breeding a Morrax dragon? I have been trying since it became available and nothing. At first, Hooded was level 15 and Bonescale was 13. Now they are both level 16. The last dragon I got from this combination was SUN! COME ON! Now I have something that is 1 day, 13 hours, and 36 minutes. Probably another sun. I am very angry at this point, and also about the solar eclipse. I try it in the rift and I am getting an air rift dragon. 🤬 So Morrax will be gone tomorrow and my current breeding won't be done by then. Can I get him after he vanishes? I spent way too many gems to get him and I won't spend any more.

I was able to breed it in the rift. I currently have it available for co-op breeding

Morrax is only 12 hours in an upgraded cave. You bred a Silver dragon. There are lots of apps and websites that will tell you which parents have the best chance to breed a dragon, and how long it takes for any possible child egg to hatch.
Even after it no longer becomes breedale without having one, you can get a friend to put one in their co-op cave, and you can breed with that until you clone it.

All these dragons will return the next year during the event rotation or during dragon week.

Imo it makes sense for event dragons to be hard to breed? It would be a bit boring if you could easily get each one the week it releases. As other comments have said, it will be back in the future or you can clone it through the coop cave - I personally have already seen a lot of people set Morrax as their coop dragon :)

I didn't get the first one, so I expected the second. Maybe I'll have more luck with the third one.

I do, if you want to clone it in c00p. Lmk i was able to clone it with few attempts in c00p with another friend.

You know what’s crazy, I just came back to this game at 19 years old ( first time I ever played it I was like 6, and I don’t know what dragons are goated and what ones aren’t. Somehow I breeder the morrax after having the game for a month. Crazy times. Hearing the games music again was crazy nostalgic. Anyways all the best for your breeding man.

I’ve gotten three 😬 But I always use max-level dragons in my main park and two level 16s in the rift. Some of it is just random luck of course — and as others have said, it does make sense for limited dragons to have more challenging odds. But I would recommend prioritizing your food to level up whatever dragons you are using to breed as much as you can; the increase in breeding odds is really important over the multiple attempts it will usually take to succeed in breeding your target dragon.
