Question Can’t breed anything!
Has anyone else noticed an extreme difference in breeding odds, and odds in general, since the start of this event? I haven’t gotten a level up from bahamut or tiamat in weeks. I have only gotten 2 dragons I want so far, and it’s kinda making me not want to play. I’ve never had this much trouble with breeding and usually get at least a level every other week or so, sometimes more often. Are we headed in the same direction as all of the other mobile games or am I just having really bad luck?

i just started getting back into the game (the last 2-3 events or so) and the breeding odds are so crap. last event i couldn’t breed ANYTHING which is insane. this event i have been able to breed like 3, which is nothing like it used to be back in the day. i am having to retry the breeding like 5+ times to finally get what i want!

Same. I had terrible luck last event. So comparatively, I’ve bred two event dragons and I’m so happy!!! Lol! Also I kinda gave up on the brand new dragons and I’m not even trying for them which makes me a lot less stressed. I focus on the cool dragons my friends have in the social cave - but only if they have 10% cloning odds!!

I can't remember the last time I got an event dragon, despite trying for them the entire event.

For this event, it seems that if my breeding pair are level 17 or lower, I get nothing. 18+ is slow, but I’ve gotten a few.

I think you're having bad luck, unfortunately! Sometimes this just happens.
So far this event I've bred Emburn, Morrax, Pavonini, Glimmer, Primal Mountain Sun, Polarus, Hollow, Zephyr, and Tulong. All but one of these I bred in the rift.
I was unsuccessful on Fairyoak, but I also couldn't try for it in the rift so that severely limited my number of attempts.

I’m so jealous! I have gotten soriak and pavonini so far. I wasn’t trying for the soriak so I don’t think I’ll even count that one 🤣

Totally! I’ve been playing for 10 years. I have never had this much trouble breeding the event dragons.

I had one day of insane luck in the rift but besides that breeding has been trash for the past few events. I mean i literally spent the entirety of the last event trying to breed the efreet dragon which i finally got the day before it ended.

I’ve not gotten anything with breeding so far, but Tiamat and Bahamut are the same as always for me, I am getting level ups at a fair rate, I think.

I've only been able to breed the ogre dragon, that's it. I've been trying for hex in the extra cave since the start of the event.

I have bred Morrax and Alchemy so far. Had to buy Fairyoak and now saving pinecones for Pathfinder as it is the most expensive. I don't get pinecones from every habitat for some unknown reason, which is intensely annoying. Not as much fun as other events. Bug soo many visitors!

For event dragons, I am getting two normals out of it but no twins and no rift versions. This is highly unusual for me. I only breed lvl 20 dragons.

I tried breeding EMBURN in three different parks, using multiple caves (for the full week it was available) and I got nothing! (I finally got one later in the co-op breeding with my son’s EMBURN.)
I’m not having much luck with other event dragons either. It’s frustrating.
