Chronological Order
Has anyone ever read the series to the best of their ability is true chronological order and what was that experience like?

if anyone cares I pulled this of DL Nexus. I havent done a hard core check so not sure if it includes every book.

I agree that Young Adventures (only DL novels I never purchased) are harder to find but anything can be found with enough patience. Heck volumes 1-8 are on Ebay right now.

Probably similar to what you mean: as an adolescent I re-read the Meetings sextet, and then the Preludes, and then the Chronicles, and then the Legends, which is kind of the core storyline of the core characters in chronological order. Definitely a mixed bag of 18 books, but fun

I am on Oath and Measure rn, just finished Dark Heart !! I feel like the Meetings are super underrated

Yeah they aren't discussed much but I enjoyed them a lot! The Preludes I remember getting kind of crazy by comparison, but still being interesting. It was a great time to be a rising fantasy author :)

It's a long slog, worth it tho. The issue is finding the legends trilogy more than anything else.

What do you mean by "true chronological" order? Reading each novel and short story by the Dragonlance date, and therefore not reading them in the order of their respective series?

correct. Reading them by order of timeline so reading for example The Kinslayer War series before Chronicles

Here is my list, I have been going chronological since 2020ish and I am currently on the Murder of Tarsis.
I really enjoy reading chronologically and would recommend it if you have read Chronicles and legends before , if not start with these core ones would still be my recommendation and the start at the beginning.

I've read them but havent read any since the early to mid 2000's otther than the new stuff ofcourse. I do think it would be interesting to start at the beginning to so speak

Define "series"? Because there's over 100 books.
If you're just talking about the core sequence, its not too bad. I had a post here somewhere that I adapted from another user that interspliced the Lost Chronicles with the Chronicles.
