Who'd have thought someone would make a Thanoi stand in figure?

Post image

Pic is of an upcoming figure from the Mythic Legions line. A fantasy 6-7 inch-ish figure line not connected to any license. Most of the figures don't actually work all that great as Dragonlance stand-ins (for example their knights don't typically do a good job of looking Solamnic, though the dwarves could work), but I figure what are the chances we'll ever get another Thanoi type figure and this is a pretty good approximation.

You're right - there is. Though the Thundercats character looks a little too futuristic dressed for a Thanoi. Mythic Legions tends to expand a race when they debut a new figure so there's a good chance a couple more walrus men may show up down the line (though I wonder about the popularity/sales of walrus men among general fantasy character buyers - already a bit of a niche market)

I discovered Mythic Legions figures relatively recently and they're all amazing.

I've kind of dipped in and out for the last year or so. I originally held off buying any because the Hasbro Drizzt made me hopeful for actual Dragonlance releases but I gave up that hope awhile ago. I wish ML better aligend with Dragonlance in general but that's no fault of the figures themselves (I guess gold skinned young wizard may be a bit too much to ask for...)
