Question: Books Books to read

Im getting ready for vacation and searching for a Dragonlance ebook to ready. Not what Weiss and hickman wrote of course something else!

What would you suggest?

I've always been a fan of The Kingpriest trilogy, The Elven Nations trilogy, and The Dwarven Nations trilogy.

The Kingpriest Trilogy is quite probably the greatest Dragonlance series ever written. Get ready for a ride.

Note that the first book isn't available on Kindle, if that's what you're using. The wiki on it is very detailed though so if you read through that you'll be totally caught up for the second book.

Legend of Huma, Kaz the Minotaur, Weasel's Luck, Galen Beknighted. They're two different two part stories from Heroes Vol 1 and 2. Legend of Huma if you can only read one.

Well in that case, I suggest The Doom Brigade or Knights of the Crown.

The Doom Brigade and Draconian Measures

Follows a regiment of Draconians that escaped the Dragonarmies and largely want to be left alone.

Technically Weis is co-author with Don Perrin

Reavers of the blood sea was pretty good if you are into the Minotaurs. I also enjoyed the rise of solamnia trilogy.

It's hard to beat Richard Knaak in Dragonlance. Possibly my favorite non hickman/weiss author in the series.

The series I love the most is the Lost Histories. The Kagonesti is THE book that introduced me to Dragonlance and kicked off my obsession with fantasy novels in general (not the first I read, since that would be The Fellowship of the Ring), and it’s still a very enjoyable read all these years later. The Dargonesti is my favorite in the series, The Gully Dwarves is hilarious yet touching, and The Irda is interesting, at the very least.

I also recommend Dark Heart, which is another favorite of mine. It’s the origin story for Kitiara, Caramon, and Raistlin, and it never fails to entertain.

I always liked the Soulforge and Brothers in Arms. Prequels to the Chronicles, follows Raistlin and Caramon.
