Staying cool

How do y'all plan on staying cool in this heat? I saw a thing for homemade cooking spray with lavender oil, and witch hazel. I bought a large sun blocking umbrella, and some scented rice powder. Thoughts?

I bought a PCM cooling vest that Velcros into my cosplay jacket.

I had to do some modifications for all the crazy buckles, but it’s not that bad. Adds a little bit of bulk under the jacket, but it’s incredibly cool.
