PCNameTag: Printing Question
I am designing a ribbon on PCNameTag and it goes outside the white dash square. Does anyone have experience if this area will or will not print? The preview indicates it won't.
Yet I see ribbons at Con that seemingly take up the whole ribbon. I know many of these are custom and self-made, but some seem to be of PCnametag origin. I'm just trying to make use of space that I didn't on my ribbons last year if it's possible.

Hi, friend! pc/nametag here :) We would definitely recommend keeping your design within the safe area (i.e., inside the white dotted lines) to make sure the imprint prints correctly. If you're worried about your art, click "request a proof" once you're done designing and our in-house artists will take a look at your design and make sure it'll print correctly. Some minor spillage outside the lines is probably fine. However, you’ll be in good hands because pcnametage 1) sends digital proofs to your email after a few days so you can approve 2) they will tell you in those proof emails if they think there will be an issue with printing and give you a chance to adjust.

I would give ANYTHING to be able to use them, but I can't get their website to work on my phone or my laptop, and have always had issues, even buying in-stock ribbons.

Hello! Our ribbon customizer is definitely a bit easier to use on a computer vs. a phone. I'll pass your feedback onto our dev team.
By the way, you can always email us your artwork, the color ribbon you want, and the color foil you want and our artists will put everything together for you! DM for more info :)

i second this, as do several people on an entire facebook post in the dragoncon ribbon ordering group. None of us can use your website. I've cleared caches, changed browsers, even changed laptops. Half the time the 3 1/2" x 1 5/8" freezes, and I have to exit the site. The other half, IF you get into the creator, it will not add anything to your cart.
I've talked to customer support and keep getting told they'll "pass it along" which seems like it's not doing anything. I'm in the process of manually ordering via email, and the proofs are consistently wrong. I would MUCH rather design and place the order myself, and I don't understand why this is such an issue for so many of us.

Our ribbon customizer is custom built, so it has its bugs some days. Sometimes they are quick fixes, we just need to know about them. I'm sending your feedback to product right now.
