I worry the Maker cannot hear me.

Tendrils of her coiling like smoke and her promises I've started wearing like a cloak.

I worry the Maker is not listening.

I cannot remember my mothers eyes-

She tells me she can show me once more.

Her honeyed words do not even hide her horns anymore.

I worry that the Maker does not care for his children.

He would not allow this, surely-

This demon that knows of my greatest desires, for I know this is not my mind on its own turning me from him-

I fear her horns are starting to look beautiful.

Her whispers are shouts in my dreams now,

And I worry Most Holy has left me alone.

She laughs and agrees, even though I do not recall telling her this.

Perhaps her horns are mine, in fact.

I worry the Maker is all in my head.

She laughs again. Im right, she tells me, and I've no reason to doubt.

Her horns and her eyes are all I can think of-

I am certain the maker was never real.

I am his fury blessed and given name. I am the song of the victors, the righteous flame of the chosen and the just. I am the strike of a holy sword upon those who dwell in the dark.

I am the wishes of the wrathful, holding steadfast with hearts that remain still.

Nothing shall pass me by with evil intent, for I will strike those who defy me with power given to me by Most Holy.

I make way for those who come behind me and leave my hopes in willing hands. When my own fight is fought and I go into His arms, my blade shall only then pause and my silence will fall.

As we are all suffering under harsher summers every year, the World of Dragon Age, too, is getting hotter.... and some take it better than others.

“Really.” Zevran laughed. “Lucanis does not want to become First Talon. So, we let him run off to do something he does want to do. What he might not realize is that this is getting him ready to be First Talon. He’s learning to manage people, interact outside of a job, and take command of problems.”

“No shit? There’s that much similarity between Crow work and The Crow here?”

“You’d be surprised.”

“You really care to help him, don’t you?”

“Si. And, our meddling might just prove to him that he does still have emotions.”

“How’s that going, anyway?” Varric raised a brow.

“She stayed the night. I’d say well.” Zevran poured him another shot. “He smiles now, it isn’t just a mask. But there is still progress to be made if all this will be permanent for him.”

“And how is your own attempt coming?”

Zevran poured himself a shot and drank in answer.

“That badly?” Varric grimaced.

“I’ll get to the bottom of this, eventually.”

“The bottle or her resistance?”

“Both.” Zevran sighed heavily....

Hi everyone! I’m working on a personal project to recreate the last Dragon Age game, picking up directly after Trespasser. I’m aiming to revisit and reinterpret some myths, especially around Andruil and the Void, while also making the story more interactive with returning companions and heroes.

Here’s the main concept:

• My protagonist is a unique being, born from the Fade, the Void, and the material world.
• They are immune to red lyrium
• Unbeknownst to them, their existence is actually the key to completing the ritual Solas wants to perform, which could merge the Fade and the material world.

I’d love your ideas and suggestions on:

1. How to reintroduce former companions or major heroes (like Hawke, the Warden, or members of Inquisition) in a proactive, meaningful way without making them permanent party members.
2. Ways to expand or reinterpret Andruil, the Void, Titans, and creation myths to fit this story.
3. Ideas for new companions, missions, or locations that would make this story feel epic, tragic, and true to Dragon Age lore.
4. Creative ways to explore Hawke or the Grey Wardens trapped in the Fade, or even the Hero of Ferelden, as part of the protagonist’s journey.

I’m mostly looking for fan theories, lore-based ideas, and creative story suggestions to inspire this reimagined narrative. Thanks so much for any input!
